Virtually Visiting Arizona Seeing Cade & Cambri

I had a virtual visit to Arizona yesterday, late in the day.

With a quick drive by my little sister Jackie's house in Chandler. Which is what you see photo documented above.

Til yesterday, I had not been at this location since way back in 2019. I think it was the month of June.

I was sort of hoping that I'd get to see my great (or is it grand?) nephew and niece, Cade Christopher and Cambri June during my virtual drive by.

Such did not happen at that point in time.

But, Cade and Cambri's grandma, Jackie, later provided a nice look of Cade and Cambri.

That is Cade above, looking like an exact replica of his dad, my favorite Christopher nephew. Christopher was such a fun kid. I suspect Cade may be even funner. I'd love to find out in person.

And here we get to see Cade's little sister, Cambri. I do not know what is in the bowl Cambri has a hand in.

Here I think we may be seeing Cade and Cambri trying to get Grandma Jackie to open the door so they can go play in the swimming pool.

The last time I was in that pool it was with Cade and Cambri's cousins, Ruby, Theo and David.

Cade and Cambri had not yet arrived on the planet.

I must go see if I can find the blog post documenting the last time I was in Cade and Cambri's swimming pool.

Found it...

Lost Birthday Gift Arrives From Arizona With Grandma Jackie & Baby Cambri

I often forget to unmute the sound on my phone, thus not hearing incoming calls or text messages.

Such happened this morning.

My phone was sitting beside me, when it suddenly lit up. With no noise.

I saw it was a text message.

From Linda Lou, asking about my delicate, fragile state of ill health. Well, more precisely, asking if my cold had gotten any better. Or worsened into respiratory mayhem.

Linda Lou, before retiring, spent several decades being a nurse, hence her tendency to go into nurse mode when needed.

When I clicked on the phone and saw Linda Lou's message I saw another text message, from over a week ago, August 11, to be precise.

From my little sister, Jackie.

The text message said, "Ok, one more birthday gift for you. I am feeling super generous".

The birthday gift is the included photo of Grandma Jackie holding her eldest granddaughter, Cambri June.

We first met Cambri June way back on Saturday, July 28, 2025 in Seeing Baby Cambri June Weston In Arizona For The First Time.

Cambri June looks so tiny. I cannot remember when last I held a tiny, little baby...

Chilly 90 Degree Sikes Lake Nature Communing With Baby Cambri June

With the outer world, on this final Saturday of the 2025 version of July, chilled to a relatively chilly (compared to yesterday) 90 degrees, it was to nearby Sikes Lake I ventured this morning for my regularly scheduled nature communing bout of endorphin acquisition from aerobic activity.

As you can see via the photo documentation, the outer world at my North Texas location is looking peaceful, little wind blowing, no clouds clouding the sky, the high humidity largely burned off.

A perfect Texas Saturday in July.

So far.

Changing the subject to something totally different.

Two days ago, I was informed that for the first time in 55 years a girl has been born to my mom and dad's branch of the extended family.

And yesterday I learned the name of the new family member.

Cambri June.

My informer opined that the June middle name seemed ironic, what with Cambri having been born in July. But, I like the sound of Cambri June better than Cambri July.

Cambri June's paternal parental unit is my nephew Christopher Jay Weston. Cambri June's maternal parental unit is my niece-in-law, Carissa Weston. I do not know Carissa's middle name. I assume her middle name begins with the "J" letter, as that seems to be the family theme.

I think Cambri June's big brother Cade''s middle name is Jay, same as his dad. I may be wrong about that. Maybe Cade's middle name is Jack. That would make sense, what with both Cade's grandpa and great-grandpa being named Jack, and his grandma being named Jackie.

I have yet to see photo documentation of the newest family member.
