Linda Lou Sees UFO Flying Over Seattle
The above arrived this morning via Facebook from Linda Lou, purporting to show a UFO flying saucer type aircraft hovering over Seattle. This photo also appears to be photo documenting how bad the wildfire smoke is in the Seattle zone of Western Washington.
As we saw earlier this morning, the wildfire smoke in the Skagit Valley has cleared enough to allow a clear view of the Mount Baker volcano.

No Third Kind Close Encounter In Wichita Falls
This morning I was driving a senior citizen to various locations to pick up various prescriptions when at one point, when stopped at a red light, I looked up to see what looked to be a flying saucer landing.
This was not a close encounter of the third kind, because I saw no life forms exiting the flying saucer.
This is looking southwest at the intersection between the Seymour Highway and Brook Avenue, with Arby's directly left, out the driver's side window.
The lower part of the flying saucer landing appeared to be a cloth material, waving in the wind, which you can not see, because this is a photograph, not a video. You also can not see the rain falling, but you can make out a drop or two on the windshield.
There is little interesting, structure wise, in this town. Thus finding this flying saucer/UFO like structure to be interesting, structure wise.
It takes little to be interesting these limiting COVID days. But, such appears to rapidly be getting better.
Tomorrow I get the Johnson & Johnson COVID shot in the arm. And once that vaccination is confirmed I am driving to D/FW to the first time in well over a year.
There is a bridge there I want to drive over...

Columbia Anniversary

When I realized what had happened I performed my post 9/11 duty of calling those I know on the west coast, who were still asleep, to let them know something awful has happened and that it was time to get up and turn on the TV.
The morning of 9/11 calls were very strange to make. I didn't want to tell people outright what had happened. I just told them they needed to turn on their TV and probably not go to work today. I particularly thought my little sister should stay home since she worked high up in a Seattle skyscraper and at that point in time who knew how many more airliners had been hijacked.
That day 5 years ago yesterday brought about the most unusual freeway warning signs I've seen. Sort of surreal. The one above was taken looking west past the Fort Worth UFO towards downtown Fort Worth.

Stephenville UFO

I was peacefully minding my own business sipping on some salubrious Tension Tamer tea, watching the remaining 3 Democrats debate in Las Vegas when my peace was rudely shattered by my cell phone's annoying ring. I then had to hunt down the phone and saw it was Lulu. All day long I had been plagued by incoming calls with the caller not I.D'd, saying only "private number". These calls came in about once an hour. I don't answer calls when I don't know who is on the other end. The 8th time this happened the caller left a voice mail. It was Lulu. I called her back. She'd somehow messed up her cell phone settings again.
Anyway, so Lulu called disrupting the undivided attention I had been paying to what had been a somewhat entertaining debate. Hillary was acting sort of macho tonight, while John Edwards almost had a teary moment to two. Barack Obama is very articulate.
Oh, back to the Lulu call. Her first husband had told her that UFOs were invading the Texas town of Stephenville. Lulu wanted to know if I was close to there and if I'd seen any UFOs. This was the first I'd heard of the UFO invasion. I told Lulu I would keep an eye on the sky. And then I tried to once more concentrate on the debate. But I couldn't. Those trivial issues those candidates were yammering about paled in comparison to the UFO invasion spectre Lulu had raised.
So, off went the TV and to the Internet I went, Googling "Stephenville UFO". And what to my surprised eyes did appear but link after link about the Stephenville UFOs. Stephenville is down in the Dinosaur Valley/Creationism Museum area. UFOs don't seem much of a stretch.
I'd put some links to the articles in this post but that's a lot of bother and you can just Google it for yourself. It's my bedtime.
