Merry Christmas From Hank Frank, Cade & Cambri

 Christmas cards arrived yesterday, from two of my nephews, with the card including photos.

On the left that is my nephew, Christopher, the bearded one, with wife, Carissa. On Christopher's right that is Christopher and Carrisa's first born, Cade, currently two years old. Between Christopher and Carrisa is the latest addition to my extended family, baby girl, Cambri.

Which would make that a closeup of Cambri and Cade in the middle photo.

Christopher, Carissa, Cade and Cambri currently reside in Chandler, Arizona.

In the photo on the right, that is my nephew Joey, next to wife, Monique, standing behind their first born, Hank Frank. 

I talked to Hank Frank's grandma a couple days ago, a call during which I learned Hank Frank is now 7 years old and is doing incredibly well in school.

Hank Frank and his parental units live in Washington, in their home on the Skagit Flats, which recently escaped being flooded, whilst Hank Frank was vacationing with his mom and dad in Maui.

I assume Hank Frank is still in Maui.

From his grandma I learned Hank Frank already knows how to read and write. And is a math whiz.  Asking questions well above his age grade. Such as asking his grandma what the state fish of Hawaii is.

Apparently, Hank Frank has a hobby of remembering thinks like that.

Unexpected Happy Holiday Cheer Showed Up In My Mailbox This 2nd Day Of 2024

What with the Holiday Season over, til later this year, I was not expecting to find any additional Holiday related items to show up in my mailbox this Holiday Season cycle.

A little after 5 o'clock this rainy, cold, cloudy second day of 2024, I found that which you see above, or to the left, depending upon what means you are using to access the Internet.

I now will remember how to correctly spell Cade's mama's name. I think I have been spelling Carissa with two r's and one s, as in Carrisa. Or maybe it was Carrissa was making my spelling error.

Due to the temperature frigidity Walmart was my walking destination today, for a half hour of high-speed grocery cart pushing. I called Cade's grandma whilst in Walmart, but she was not available.

I have not talked to Cade's grandma yet this year...

There For The Sex At The Lucy Park Log Cabin

The temperature heated into the 90s yesterday. And then today, on the next to last Saturday of the 2023 version of April, the temperature plummeted to way below 90. Consequently, I was way under dressed when I went to Lucy Park this morning. I was in shorts and t-shirt, when sweatpants and sweatshirt were what was needed.

I pulled into my regular Lucy Park parking spot by the Lucy Park log cabin to find myself a bit surprised by a sign which had been hung on the fence that surrounds the Lucy Park log cabin.

"HERE FOR THE SEX"

It took dense me a moment or two to figure out one of those gender reveal events was taking place in the Lucy Park log cabin.

Way back in the middle of February I texted my sister, Jackie, and asked what was revealed at the gender reveal event of my Favorite Christopher Nephew and soon to be mama, Carissa.

The answer to that question came in the form of a photo sent to my phone.

Apparently, the gender reveal at the Chris and Carissa gender reveal event came in the form of some sort of smoke bomb. Pink smoke if a girl, blue smoke if a boy.

That is Christopher on the right, arms in the air, happy at the it's gonna be a boy news.

I do not know when the due date is. I must remember to inquire...

It's A Boy!!!

This morning of the third Friday of the second month of 2023 I woke up my phone to find a text message with the above screen shot. 

My Favorite Nephew and Neice-in-Law, Christopher and Carissa, are well on their way to becoming a mom and dad.

When I talked to Carissa's Mother-in-Law, several weeks ago, I was told there was to be a gender reveal in a day or two.

I called Carissa's Mother-in-Law a couple days ago, intending to ask what the gender reveal revealed, but I forgot to do so.

And so, I text messaged a couple days later, asking what the gender reveal revealed, hence this morning's text message screen shot answering that question.

It's a Boy!!!

It took me a moment or two to think I figured out what is happening in the photo. Apparently, the gender reveal was revealed via smoke signals.

Pink if it is a girl. Blue if a boy.
