There are many good reasons to avoid downtown Forth Worth. The best reason may be to keep yourself out of harm's way in the form of Fort Worth Gestapo Storm Troopers patrolling downtown looking for people to beat up and taser.
In downtown Fort Worth, unlike civilized parts of the world, if you are a bit intoxicated while enjoying a night on the town, going from bar to bar, a gang of Fort Worth Storm Troopers may decide you present a public danger. If you insist that you are not drunk the Fort Worth Storm Troopers might decide to go all Gang Banger on you, beating you up, zapping you with tasers. Over and over again. Kicking you, while you are reeling, screaming, on the ground.
The Fort Worth Gestapo is already in International hot water due to an incident in June where a gang of Fort Worth Gestapo thugs invaded a bar called the Rainbow Lounge, beating up patrons, one so seriously he had to be hospitalized due to brain injuries. About 30 others were restrained and forced to lay face down on pavement, awaiting being hauled away to a Gestapo jail.
In the past week, or so, two or three members of the Rainbow Lounge raiding party have been fired. It took a long time and a lot of really bad publicity to bring about the firings.
And now other members of the Fort Worth Gestapo are in trouble. About a year ago in downtown Fort Worth a gang of Fort Worth Storm Troopers accosted a man, accusing him of pubic intoxication. The man thought he was in America where he was free to speak his mind. And so he denied being intoxicated and tried to stand up for himself. Had the man never watched a movie about Nazis? You do not talk back to the Gestapo, particularly a Gang of Storm Troopers.
In this case the man was knocked to the ground, beaten and kicked and zapped with multiple taser shots. The man screams in pain during the assault, in full view of horrified, terrified, appalled onlookers. One of whom had a video camera and recorded the entire crime.
The Fort Worth Gestapo Storm Trooper Gang Bangers are now defending themselves in court. The man they beat up and tasered filed a complaint. I guess that makes Fort Worth a tad safer than Nazi Germany. I don't think very many victims of the Nazi Gestapo filed police brutality charges.
How can so many Fort Worth Gestapo Storm Troopers be so idiotic that they don't realize that if they commit a crime against the citizenry, in full public view, there is a good chance someone is going to record the crime?
And how was it, with all those people in the Rainbow Lounge that no one got any of the Gestapo assaults on video? Too scared? Knowing if you pointed a camera at the criminal cops that you'd be assaulted?
If you want to see part of the clip that was shown in court this week, you can do so by going to the WFAA Channel 8 website by clicking here. If you are at all squeamish you might just want to stay with my verbal description, the video shows a man screaming in pain as a gang of Fort Worth police beat, kick and taser him.

The Fort Worth Gestapo even behaves this way when they are employed off-duty. My wife and I frequent a downtown club. While there 2 months ago, I found myself needing to use the restroom. During my pit-stop in the crowded restroom, a women entered. I politely reminded her this was the mens facility and perhaps she should leave. Upon doing so I was hit with a barrage of obscenities that could only be attributed to the bottom of a bottle of JD. As I was exiting I calmly informed her she should go f**k herself. THAT was the only part of the incident an off-duty Fort Worth Gestapo member heard and I was summarily thrown out. Did he talk to the drunken female in the restroom? No. Was I combative or belligirent? No. Did I leave without incident? Hell yes! I was wronged but I am also not stupid. Still, I did not enjoy being on the wrong side of Gestapo justice...
